Delicious brown sugar cookies

These cookies are very simple and easy to make.  They involve very few ingredients and are very good with a tall glass of milk.

1 cup butter (2 sticks)
1 egg
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 cup brown sugar
