Rainy Day Pantry Soup
It had been raining all week at my house and we hadn’t been grocery shopping in a while…we were down to the ‘nothings’. I stared blankly into the pantry hoping to find something to cook for dinner (I begged to cook dinner that night!).
Well, here was our dinner!
- 10 cups of water (depending how much broth you want)
- 10 chicken bouillon cubes (or a few cans of chicken broth)
- 1/2 of a 16 ounce can of green beans
- 1/2 of a 16 ounce can of potatoes
- 1/2 of a 16 ounce can of corn
- 1/2 of a 16 ounce can of carrots
- 1 box of noodles (any kind)

Bring 2 pots of water to boil one for the noodles and one for the broth and veggies. Once both pots of water are boiling add the noodles to one pot and the bouillon cubes and the veggies to one pot.

After the noodles are cooked, add them to the pot with the broth and veggies. The noodle should be a little under cooked when you add them to the broth so they will not be mushy and slimy. Ladle the soup into bowls when it is boiling. ENJOY!!!

(any of the canned veggies can be replace with fresh veggies)
Everyone loved it!

Your soup looks warm & yummy. This reciepe sounds easy & great now that cold weather is here. Wish my daughter had taken interest in cooking at that age, she still does not like to cook. Its great when theres a true passion for cooking so good for you! Love your moms blog too. Have a great day! Julie
