How Project Arrowhead Began

My dad and I had just went to the lake and he was talking about how much trash there was. So, I told him I would arrange a group to come clean the shoreline of Arrowhead Park in Hickory Creek, Texas. That was the beginnings of my project!
I emailed GLAD the trash bag company and they emailed me back saying this:
We think your project sounds just wonderful and would be happy to supply trash bags. How many bags would you need? Please let me know and I’d be happy to put them in the mail to you. Thanks for reaching out to us.
Her name is Vicki and she works for GLAD. She has agreed to send a FULL case of GLAD ForceFlex trash bags to sponsor the project, now called Project Arrowhead. Thanks GLAD and Vicki!
I then emailed the MAYOR (John Smith) of Hickory Creek, Texas. He replied inviting me to come speak before the town council at a meeting this Tuesday to discuss my proposal. I will post about the meeting afterwards. Wish me luck!
